A hill climbing race

This weekend I will have the chance to participate in my first race in 2012 season. I will compete in the first round of Ukrainian Hill Climb Championship. My racing car for that race will be a Lada 2108 prepared for rally.
Hill climbing is one of the oldest forms of motorsport, since the first known hill climb at La Turbie near Nice, France that first took place long ago on the 31 of January 1897One of the most famous hill climb races are hold in United States. It's called Pikes Peak International Hill Climb held at Coloarado Springs. In Ukraine, hill climbing is also very popular due to beautiful mountain roads in The Carpathian mountains.  There are races on both, tarmac and gravel surfaces. It is a good chance to train for rallying.
That's a good comeback for me in hill climb and rallying, after I competed in 2008 and 2009 in some hill climb and rally events on Dacia Logan and Lada 2109 rally cars. I also managed to graduate with success in 2008 - Titi Aur Rally School in Romania. Dacia Logan, Renault Clio 1600, BMW M3, Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 8 where the cars that I learned to drive on a special prepared training track near Bucharest (Romania), alongside multiple national and international Romanian rally driver and legend Constantin Aur.
I was invited to race just for one event so far, so I have no clear vision  yet, how many races will I race this season. Maybe, I will participate in some rally events also, but for sure I will test and race in karting as in the past years.
